The company’s talent technology is scalable and fully trackable with live reporting and data. Connectr is on a mission to enable organisations to transform their approach to talent and bring equity to acquisition, covering Early Careers, Returners, Over 50’s and everything in between.

Their Needs

As a growing business with global ambitions, Connectr needed ISO 27001 certification to reassure their existing clients that the company’s security measures were of the highest standards while giving them a platform to win new business from larger, multi-national customers where having this level of accreditation is a necessity. Without the accreditation, Connectr were at risk of missing out on new business and were also forced to complete time-consuming data security procedures every time they worked with a larger client. As a result, obtaining accreditation became essential.

What Did We Do

Having already supported Connectr since 2016, we knew their IT well and worked closely with staff on tailored solutions to their problems. 

Working together with their project lead on obtaining ISO 27001, we delivered a number of IT security solutions so Connectr could meet the necessary standards and additional cybersecurity requirements for certification. Those solutions included:

  • DUO MFA security for enhanced laptop security 
  • Encrypting all devices 
  • Providing comprehensive cybersecurity systems including ESET Protect Cloud solutions, Microsoft Defender for Office365, and Fortiguard solutions. 
  • Establishing a system for device management (MS Intune) and inventory (Asset Tiger). 
  • Helped formulate a number of new and necessary policies and procedures for the business, and also introduced a Cloud2Cloud backup solution. 

In summary, we delivered a comprehensive package of solutions to achieve the goal of certification. 


As a result of obtaining ISO27001 accreditation, Connectr was able to reassure existing and potential multinational clients that they meet the highest standards of data security. The accreditation also excludes Connectr from having to complete the majority of data security questionnaires when bidding for new work, saving staff valuable time and energy, so they can focus on what they do best. As a SME, which regularly works with large, multinational clients, it was vital for Connectr to demonstrate they are a security-focussed and highly professional operation. The accreditation will enable Connectr to successfully grow and attract even bigger clients in future.
